In short
Simply reading this site sets no cookies and sends no data to third parties. Fonts, images and scripts are served from my own machine. Personal data is processed only if you leave a comment, and then only as far as that requires.
Hosting and server logs
The site runs at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Deutschland, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Ordinary page views are not logged. Only when a request fails for technical reasons, for instance because a service does not respond, does the web server in front write an entry to an error log: date and time, your IP address, the address requested and the error message. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is secure, trouble-free operation. Error logs are rotated weekly and deleted after eleven weeks at the latest unless they are needed to investigate a specific case of abuse.
Comments
Comments are read and approved before they appear. I store the name you give, the comment text and the time.
An email address is optional. If you provide one, I do not store it in clear text but only as a salted hash; the same applies to your IP address. These hashes exist solely to detect duplicate submissions and spam and cannot be reversed. The legal basis for publication is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, and for spam detection Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Comments remain stored until you ask me to delete them.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An email to info@aytekin-armutcu.de is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence or of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for me is: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach.
